Wow, looks far more generic comic-esque; so different from your normal style it's actually pretty surprising. Way to go with the new look, though - she does appear my hardcore and deadly than the cuter previous version.

Love how you are getting your own way of making your characters. they are not the generic manga/anime style number 100293. Its now has a more flavor of your own personal style, something that makes you unique over other art styles. and thus what makes an artist.

Now color wise I see you decided to go for the more simple kind of look over the original one. Many may think the other is better since it has a more worked background and the shinnies (sigh and the nipple , Im a boob guy sorry). But on the original the backgound has so much detail people focus more on the bakground or the shinny water than on the character itself. Let me see if I can explain what my brain is trying to say.

When I clicked on the orignal image the first thing my eyes went focus on was the background. Now this would be great if this image was made to show a background but the image is not about the background its about the character. On the new one the first time I saw it my eyes focused completly on the character, the water drops on the body and even the fact that she is soaked wet but the skirt is made or wrinkles of steel since the skirt should stick to the legs, kinda like the effect on the while shirt. That or the skirt is water proof.

and now my perv side wants to say something...

"I still think the nipple sould be back at least as a mark of reference, because right now it gives the impression her breast are saggy because my brain is trying to put the nipples lower than the "wet marks" on the shirt"

Then again this is my perv side so dont pay much attention to it In overall I like the image a lot and glad to see you back over here.
